Men qualify for professional attire by completing training in a job readiness program that we are partners with. Once completed the program contacts us for attire.

When I received my interview letter to get a much needed job for the NYS DMV back in 1993, I was so excited. However, after that excitement ended, sadness immediately followed. I was sad because I realized that I didn't have anything to wear to the interview. Wow, a huge opportunity that I really needed could be lost because of a lack of professional attire.
I was always taught on the importance of image and first impressions, so I knew I had to dress professionally to set the tone I wanted. I knew the 7/11 rule (within the first 7 seconds people make about 11 jugdements about you). I just didnt have the finances or clothing to make that great impression.
Fortunately, a good friend and pastor David Sparks heard about my situation and purchased me a suit, tie and a pair of shoes. This gesture not only helped me secure the job but also always remained in my heart.

24 years later as I was conducting interviews for NYS DMV, I saw men lacking professional attire and interview skills to be hired and not being able to support their families. I told my brother Jamael, we have to do something to help these men. We then formed THAT SUITS YOU, to help this situation and help individuals who faced the exact situation that I was in years prior. Now over a decade later and over 28K individuals assisted and counting....
